Wow, you gals sure keep early hours. Ready for pics anytime.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

This is my main accomplishment in my life. He is graduating from Stanford in June. Then he plans on going as far away from me as he can! I keep telling him he can run but not hide! LOL. I may have to move to the East coast!

As far as brugs go, ask me next year! This is my first year growing my own seeds. Though 2 great friends did name 2 of their creations after me! Gave me a huge thrill. That is a big accomplishment, having such great and loving friends. Thanks Susie and Tracey!

Kell...a major accomplishment !!! What is he majoring in? I guess he has the pleasure of having many songs written for him! LOL !!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks Margie.
You know I look at his picture and I am so shocked. He looks like a man now. He even talks like one! I keep thinking he is my little boy. This was taken on Mother's day. He told me my garden was way too crowded for his tastes. LOL

He double majored in Computer Sciene and Political Science.

I do not write any songs Margie, other people's songs just get trapped in my head. Dives me crazy!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Kell...I know what you mean, my oldest child is going on 40 next year, then the others 39, 36 & 32....it is hard to think of them as adults! But they REALLY are, and really wise ones at that !!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Gosh, you must have been a baby when you had them!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

kell...well, thank you for the compliment! No I wasn't....if you saw me in the photo at Candy's, actually I look so old there. I don't feel that age!! I feel very young at heart!! : )))

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Margie, you have a couple of little princesses there for sure. I love grandchildren. At least they do have to go home after a short visit. I'm too old to have kids around all the time anymore. LOL!

lol! snort chuckle chuckle.....!!!!!! (I'd better go knock on some wood!)

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

sherrylike....looks like your GC are close in age too!
For me that was 4 in 8 years, then GC is 8 in 7 years, my youngest child doesn't have any children yet. So, there will probably be more. 4 of the GC are 5 Y.O. !!!! (or will be in the next few weeks!)

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Margie posted: looks like your GC are close in age too

You bet, real close!! And, with the youngest being 6 and the oldest being 13 in June, it is paying off. My oldest son had an almost 3 year old, an almost 2 year old, and newborn twins - 4 under three and all in diapers. It took several families to raise them. We thought they had set a record, but my first cousin's son, had a set of twins, almost three, an almost two year old singleton and then another set of twins.
Do yours live near Margie??? I have four next door and the others are two quick hours away in Little Rock. We have two boys and a girl that we didn't get until her mother (my aunt) died suddenly, she was ten, when we adopted her, and we were truly blessed!!! So I missed the baby years with girls and the 5 grand girls are taking up the slack, whew!!!

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Here are my major accomplishments, in no particular order.

MaryinLA....What a beautiful family...love the photos of the little ones especially!

Sherrylike...all four of my children live 1 mile (the closest) to 20 miles away. My oldest daughter had a 4 yo, a 3yo and then twins! They are still young & she is very active taking them to sports and lessons. I don't know how she does it.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

MaryinLA, your daughter, your son, your grans are absolutely precious, I'd love to have Hope here to follow me around the garden, I LOVE her curls, are they red, my absolute fav hair color!!!!

Good golly, Margie, I thought we were the only ones with the births thisclose and twins. I think there must be something divine drawing us together, ya think??? Bless your daughter's heart, I know exactly where both of you are. There were several years there that every time I saw my son and his wife, that he didn't have one kid in a pouch in the front, one in the back, or that Gina wasn't nursing someone. Funny about our twins - all my grands were nursed until way past 1 1/2 years. When the twins quit nursing, they went to Gatoraid and Barbie bottles, can you believe that, LOL!!!!!

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

hmmmmmm............... I didn't quite intend for this thread to turn out like this, but I am most definitely enjoying it! Keep them coming! :)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

those are the best threads Karrie! LOL

Mary your kids are great. But I have got to tell you Michael looks way too young to have 2 little ones of his own. Your little grandgirl is an absolute doll. Good work, Mom!

All these beauiful baby girls. I always wanted a girl!

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

You're right, Kell, he is way too young. He is 24, but you can't tell kids anything, can you?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

So true Mary!!! And what is worse, at a certain age they start telling you! LOL

Mount Hermon, LA(Zone 8b)

Your daughter got ahold of one BIG crawfish, Mary! LOL.

Great thread.....really cute pictures!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)
