I have a purple butterfly bush that is about - six inches high. How long until it gets big enough to bloom?

you will be surprised lol. i chopped mine down last winter and now wished i cut it back more. do you have it in the sun? the one i have in shaded area is a lot slower growing.

Oh you'll have blooms....they bloom very readily. I've seen plants at the garden center in 1 gal pots with blooms larger than the whole plant. LOL
