Ice hockey world championship 2004.

Do you watch ice hockey? The games are going right now and play offs are starting. This year the world championship games are in Czech Republic ( in Middle-Europe).
Yesterday U.S.A played against Denmark, and beated it 8-3.

Tomorrow Finland will have an exciting and important game against Canada, remember to watch it;)

IMO Czech Republic is quite in the Central part of Europe :D

You've won so many times, it should've been our turn ;) It is a big thing here as well.

I know... I just wish we could have our top Canadian players, in their prime, playing. How I would have loved to have seen Gretzky, in the Edmonton Oiler years, play in the World Cup.

The Sharks are going to the Western Conference finals tomorrow for the first time, and I'm so excited. We love hockey and watch it any chance we can.

It's in the 90's here, and we have a team in the Stanley Cup finals. I'm just glad we wont get swept.

For Tampa, to win this thing, would be comparable to "The Miracle on Ice" in 1980.

LOL...I think the Calgary team feels the same way. They don't make it to the finals often. I think it's cool that a team from Florida (with your temps) made it...at least ya'll will have a very cool place to go and cheer them on! ;)

Watch out BuriedTreasure there may be buried treasure under the ice in Calgary. Do you remember the story of the looney buried in ice at Salt Lake City at the 2002 Olympics?

Will *Lightning* strike twice with the looney in the ice at the Calgary Saddledome??? The next three days will tell.... ;)

I understand if Tampa Bay Lightning wins Calgary will be sending Big Rock Beer, Bernard Callebaut chocolates and Spolumbo's sausages to Tampa Bay's Mayor Pam Iorio. If it is the Flame's turn Mayor Iorio will be sending freshly squeezed Florida Orange Juice, some Tampa made cigars and Guava pastries to Calgary's Mayor Bronconnier.
