txkitty....Hello and welcome to Daves! This place is just great and everyone here is so nice and helpful. I had looked at brugs and lusted over them for almost a year....but was too afraid to try growing them. Finally last summer there were so many nice people that sent me cuttings...then the wait began. So, after waiting sooooo long, you can understand my excitement! LOL I hope you see and smell a bloom way before I did!
Doc....of course...go for it! I take that as a great compliment! I just love the color it has turned out to be. I couldn't believe my eyes Kell when I got home last night to see how much it had darkened! And I am so surprised how long this bloom is staying. It opened sometime Tuesday and now on Friday morning it is just gorgeous! The house was filled with a beautiful scent last night.
Wow, she just keeps getting better. I can't wait for mine to bloom, but expect it to be a while yet. Great picture Brin. Isn't the fragrance of brug blooms just about the best.........
