OK...admit it ! What other addictions do you have?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I forgot to mention that I used to make quilts (by hand) and I gave away every one I made. I also collect Fenton glass birds. I'm not totally addicted to the two things above, but they are always on my mind when shopping. I am also addicted to Pepsi, food, and cigarettes. I don't drink alcohol except on holidays. My biggest addiction is Daves Garden. If I can't get here for some reason, I start going through withdrawal.

Grady, AL(Zone 8a)

Withdrawal .... is that what it's called .... lol.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Makes you sort of feel lost, doesn't it Shirley until you get a Dave's fix. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

POOR CC....... sending you a big hug! I wish I could help you. I know you have had a very tough year and a cold one also!.... and to make matters worse, you forgot ce-ment chickens CC!!

Oh yes Brugie, I am so addicted to my computer I have been giving up all my other addictions!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Yeah but kell,I did say chicken related items...c-ment chicken is related!LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

C-ment chickens deserve a place of their very own CC!!

Interlachen, FL

hmmm......I wonder what i'm addicted to ?!?

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

I DO enjoy the Brug collection and the collectors -- you have brightened up my life!
I breed and show little white fuzzies -- Bichon Frise doggies they are called -- and the addiction can be overwhelming! We have seven in residence, now plus four two week old puppies. D.H. has some occupancy rules, but I tend to forget what they are. We raise them all as part of the family.
It's a real challenge keeping garden and doggies to live together!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

There is no method to my madness. I'm like CC, i collect dust, lol.

I do collect dolphins...i have tons of them (even a tattoo, lol). Unfortunatly when the twins (dhs kids) were going through their not-so-nice stage (not that theyve gotten out of it) i packed most of them up for safekeeping. Eventually, we will move and leave no forwarding address and i can display them.
plant wise, i have have brugs and bulbs, but not nearly enough of either.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Alocasiaaddict, LOL

Oh Pollygardening, I have never had a dog but I really want a Bichon Frise! I saw a puppy in Lowes a few months ago in a guys babypack on his chest. It was the cutest little dog I have ever seen. And so friendly. I went home and read all about them online and they sound like such a great pet. I have an old cat though, and I just can't upset him now. But someday!

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

Kell, they are probably the best companion dog there is -- but high maintenance, like must be brushed every other day, and you use a blow dryer after bathing. Properly groomed, they look like stuffed animals (but they are still just doggies at heart). I'll be in Chicago May 18 for the National -- there will be 200 of them at the hotel!
Bichon.org is a good web site.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh gee, high maintenance? That just put a pin in my want balloon! I can't even maintain me.

But I will check out your site and lust!

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

add roses to mine I have found a lot that i like and i am going to start me a hybrid tea rose bed.

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

I love hearing about all your foibles, collecting and otherwise.
Brugie, I think making quilts is a wonderful skill. My mama did needlework, and her hands were never idle.
I think a real touch of Americana was the ladies gathering to chat and make quilts together. Perhaps if your gardening ever becomes too much --- maybe in your later years -- you'll return to quiltmaking.
