Got done at work, grabbed hubby for a bite at our regular cafe. (It's Taco Tuesday: 79 cents for soft tacos.) Came home and quickly re-tacked a strip of plastic hubby took down from the greenhouse at noon because the sows were panting and it gets cold here at night and in addition to 3 sows and 10 - 4 day old piglets we have 12 less than day old piglets to keep warm. I left the pigs to hubby, ran up the hill to the house, and it's, oh darn 9:25pm.
Quickly I pulled cord for "trusty" lap top out of my work bag, plugged it in the outlet as well as said computer. (Or should I say sad computer. (The battery won't hold a charge anymore!) Maybe, just maybe, chat doesn't close until 9:30 mtn daylight time. (What good is DLS time if I can work later and miss chat?) Of course I can ramble on because I have another 24hrs x 7 before chat comes on again. I've got plenty of time til then. Actually, less an hour at least, depending on how much more I ramble and you read this.
Okay, done rambling, on this thread anyway, for now, almost. Sure do miss chat. Been impossible to get on with job I had from September to March. Now with more light again, okay, that's just an excuse, I just can't seem to get my day done before 9pm. Guess I'll just have chat by way of threads. Not the same though. Almost like snail mail. tehehe
