I got this last year as a bare root it was about a foot and a half tall...now it is three feet, it didn't bloom this year, but it has leaves. We are going to build a house in a few years, I am going to plant this in what will be, the yard, so it will be a good sized tree by the time the house is there...
Are you certain that's Forest Pansy? The leaves should start out maroon in color later fading to a red tinted green.
That is what it is supposed to be, you know how that goes...
