A low growing plant (actually a half dozen) I bought last summer and planted with roots wrapped around itself in a gal container; kept it watered; most died back here in zone 7b, will it come alive, and maybe soon?
winterberry (or was it wintergreen)?
If it's a low growing ground cover it's wintergreen. I think wintergreen is also an evergreen... which makes me think it's prolly a goner.
It's possible they'll come back from the roots. Don't give up on it too soon.
