Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh my gosh, it is gorgeous. Hey Root, you going to use the hole L'Amour was in to plant the Bottle Palm? LOL! Really Susie, she is beautiful. Hope you either did some painting while you were out there or saved some pollen.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I painted her yesterday with RK, before RK got mutilated by the wind.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Yep,when me and CC get done digging Brugs,Susie will all kinds of holes for palms!!!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It is lovely Susie.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Sounds like a plan about ready to go into effect. LOL!! Hope you and CC are going to share.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Gorgeous . . Susie. On my small plant, I had one bloom a week ago. It was dark like yours and I loved the scent. Can't wait to see it full of blooms this summer.

I also had just one bloom on Suzanne which is pretty small. It is in a 1 gal pot and the bloom was almost the size of the plant. This is another gorgeous bloom and it just might become my favorite. I have one bloom on my Lovechild plant which is also a small plant. The bloom is so pretty. I will need to ask Tracey if this one is suppose to be petite. Mine is but it could be the size of the plant that could be a factor in its smallness.

When I get time, I will take pictures of all those seedlings of yours. They are really starting to grow and some have y'd. I sure hope there are some beauties in there for you.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I can't wait Frannie. Is this cool spell bothering you at all? Is it chilly there?

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Am I the only person here who doesn't have a L'Amour???

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I just got mine this winter. I'm sure hoping for blooms this summer.

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

This is a beautiful plant!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Hi Frannie! Yes Love Child can be on the smaller side on the smaller plants and during colder temps.

Liz maybe someone will just have to get a phyto and send you one.

Shirley that little dude will bloom before you know it, they never cease to amaze me how quickly they bloom.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Ahhh so pretty Susie. Hope your back is feeling better.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I don't think it got over 50 here today andit was close to 80 yesterday. It's been rainy, cold and damp all day. Yuk!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gosh, our everyday weather, Sylvia. We are so used to it that if it hits sixty, we think we are in a heat wave.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

L'Amour is so pretty. Someday, I'm going to get one.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Susie....what a beautiful bloom! The color looks so intense!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Beautiful brug and great photo. I also don't have a L'amour yet but hope to some day.

I am so tempted to plant my many seedlings and cuttings out in the garden. It was 75 yesterday and today. Really looks like spring outside. All the soft fruit trees are in bloom. My daffodils at peak and tulips looking good. But we could have really frosty weather yet for another month. Donna

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Sylvia, here too, it was yuckie and windy. Supposed to get chilly tonight, might go into the 50's. I've got my flannels out for sleeping and my electric blanket!
The color on L'Amour is really dark. It must like our weather!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

We had frost warnimngs last night....

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

It's raining and dreary here but we need the rain. We're already down 7 inches for the year.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Root,if we gotta share we need a tractor trailer!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Well CC,I know how to drive one,and you know how, girl we could be there and back in no time!!!YEEHAWWWW!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I am so sorry to tell y'all, the wind blew all my brugs away. No need to bring a truck ;) I replaced them all with prickly pear cactus and century plants.

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

LOL oh my...do ya'll believe that?

(least I hope it isn't true)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Liz didn't I read at Cala's site that she can supply a phyto? Looks like you could put one really good order in there! ;)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Yes Pam, you read right. Susie and I have been "chatting" about it.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Add B.Yesterday, today, tomorrow with the order as well...from what I have seen posted at "the other site" Canadians are drooling for it as well. I'm not sure if Cala has that plant but it would certainly add to the popularity of your site here. Of course I'm acting like you have a bottomless bank account....

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Brunfelsia? I was looking at it today in the gh. It looks like it could do with a bit of tlc.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

LOL.that you have it already doesn't surprise me for some reason!!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Well, even if the brugs blew away,(which just means I'll have to drive up and down the area looking for them)She still has hibiscus...and ee's......and all kinds of goodies....!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Karyn, I've never started bidding on ebay for hibiscus, but Deb is bidding for a couple of them for me. I wouldn't even know what to do unless it was a buy now item. There is a guy over there that has some nice ones.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Lily, I did have lots of brunfelsia, but they wouldn't fit in the truck for the move, so they got left behind. I love their fragrance in the garden.
CC, the wind blows soooooooo bad down here, I think the plants are in Mexico!!(think she believed me?)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

left them???????? :O You must have so many plants...oh to be a higher zone........ of course you now can purchase much more exotic ones for your new zone. Should have sent those poor unwanted plants to Canada...
