Sweet Olive?

Flower Mound, TX(Zone 7b)

I have been wanting a sweet olive ever since I smelled one in bloom. I recently ordered one called 'Goshiki', osmanthus heterophyllus. It is variegated and I wanted the fragrance with a little extra show on the foliage. I'm wondering though if the one I ordered is going to be as fragrant as the osmanthus fragrans sweet olive. I want the most fragrance possible, and am considering ordering another. Do any of you know much about the sweet olive varieties, and if so - will mine be as fragrant or is it a different type all together? Mine has leaves that look more like a holly. What does the heterophyllus mean? I ordered it from Forestfarm.

heterophyllous means having leaves of more than one shape on the same plant.

osmanthus heterophyllus is sometimes called false holly and think you would want the Osmanthus fragrans for the fragrance...
