Mine are blooming, are yours?
azaleas in bloom
Rylaff - Florida!!!!! Of course YOURS are blooming their pretty little heads off!!!! Hehehehe!!! I'm in NE GA so mine will be in about a month. BTW, those gorgeous blooms look a lot like my 'Mimosa'- Is it? Happy Growing!
Yes, those of us in Florida zone 8b are really enjoying our lovely azaleas right now. Well, we have to crow when they bloom, don't we? You folks in lower temp zones willl have your chance when your's bloom!
Besides, we've been listening to all of you who have plants up and blooming that won't grow down here!
Just kidding!!!! But it looks like a really great year for us in Tallahassee. If I may crow a bit, I have a lot of them accumulated over the years in a number of colors. And they are all blooming right now. Usually the different varieties and locations bloom at different times. But this year seems to be one where they are in sync. All seem to be trying to outdo each other!!!! Wonderful display right now!
I would send pictures, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. My DH is working on it though. Thanks for posting your pictures. I'm pretty homebound now and don't get a chance to enjoy others' flowers except online. Thanks a bunch! Please keep posting your pictures!!
Thanks!!!
Judith

I dont know what the name is. They were at our old house when I moved in. When we moved, I brought a couple of small ones with me. I do like the color though.
I believe they are Mimosa. Look in the PDB. They look just like mine and I love them. Can't wait til mine bloom.
Rlyaff,
Just visited your web page. What a nice pond and garden! I had a great visit there :)
Thanks Ladibug, you are too kind!!!!
