Do you have daylilies in drifts or beds?

I am needing to divide a lot of plants this spring. I am leaning toward a drift around part of my yard. What do you combine with your daylilies? Also any ideas on your planting around a deck or patio. Color combo that you are pleased with. Any help will be appreciated. Also looking for a few good websites on landscape design.
