Windy, yes it does need to be brought in for the winter, it has a tendancy to shrink when tempretures drop, and it does make a good houseplant, you dont have to move it at all since it is able to move much quicker than most plants when moving toward the sun. Luckily it dosnt root very well and dostn grow very large so it isnt invasive at all, if it drops somewhere you just plop it back in its pot, its amazing how much abuse these things can take. It is one of the more exotic varigateds, but they are becoming easier to find all the time, and that brown is actualy quite pretty when in the sunlight, with an orangy glow to it. You do need to be careful as they will only take so much abuse, if sqeezed to tightly or not aired out enough outside it does have a tendancy to squirt sap in places you couldnt never imagine it could reach.
