I love the picture of the fried egg plant. I f anyone has seeds to share of it. I'd love to try a few.
Does it produce white meat or dark meat?
ahelms, what picture? Am I blind again????? hehehehehe
Pot OF Gold,,
I'm laying on the floor,,laughin so hard...I cant wait to see a pic of this plant either...this is too funny!
Matilija poppies are said to be very difficult to get to grow from seed. They need a simulated forest fire. However, there's bound to be someone who knows how to do it.
I knew this had to be a joke! ROFLMAO!
I was looking for the one that grew only chicken breast. There are couple of small ones on it but they are hard to see.
Oh My Word! I needed a GOOD laugh!! Thanks!
Those chickens don't look fried to me!!!!
For shame, woman! Lololol! I ran Dogpile and every search engine I could think of and came up with zip. Sure wouldn't want to play poker with ya, you're way to good at "bluffin".
Thanks for the laffs.
HAHhahaha
ahelms,
Here is a good column about Matilija Poppies:

There are some plants in my neighborhood. I can try to harvest some seeds after they flower. They are just leafing out now.
If you want to try something a little smaller with a similar flower, you might try one of the Prickly Poppies (Argemone). Their seeds are a little more common and the plants are more manageable.

I figured there might be some pictures of these on the web. So here is one I found. It is probably in a cooler zone as the chicken does not looked fried on this one either.

Thanks for making it available in the message. I just look around now with cable and forget it might be really big.

Thats big bird as a youngster!!!LOL!
I have some seeds, HoniBee. What do you have to trade? I am looking for Chihuahua plant...
John,
I can't find my Chihuahua seeds. Darn it.
Maybe some will turn up in Sheran's "sounds like a zoo" round robin.
did someone say Chihuahua?
ROTFLMAO. This is a good one. I have a cow's udder plant. Closest I could come to a chicken. LOLOLOLOL
I got a chihuahua seed once and this is what I got, they dont go to seed without a female plant in the vicinity. Its a very clingy little plant, likes full sun and water sparingly, never soak as it dosnt care to be that wert. The plant does come in many colors and different shapes. This one is the long leafed mamas boy.
Ill have to find the picture of what happens when you soak it, its almost human the way you can tell it dosnt like it.
Diane you are too funny!!!
Dravencat and Kaufman loved though pictures, people think I am crazy when I just start having a uncotrollable laugh when I sit at the computer, I often get online in a nursing lab at school and browse Daves for awhile................I am still laughing. You made my day.
Dravencat, does the chihuahua plant need to be brought in for the winter? Does it make a good houseplant? It looks a little invasive to me just falling on the floor and taking root!
What sort of fertilizer do you use, the lfoliage seems to have turned brown, is it one of the exotic variegated types?
Draven you better share with John. :)
LMBO! What a cutie! Fancy that, having a plant that helps you by "watering" other plants, and maybe adding a little "fertilizer" as well, Lol.
