how to propogate eucalyptus

Our large tree looks bad at the top. Is there a way to take cuttings or something? Just in case.

dead easy! cut it down and in no time it will sprout from the base. it's also the easiest way to control fast growing species.

Can you grow eucalyptus from cuttings? if so how do you do it?

I agree with mark. Cut it much lower and let it grow back. Eucalyptus from cuttings is very difficult. I always use seed that is stratified (cold-treatment) in the fridge. I've also started using most seed collected locally.
