I took this picture today of my camelia bush. A little confused I guess.
my silly camelia bush
The bottom flower looks like the flowers on the camellia I had at my home in Atlanta. I never knew it's name. It bloomed in January or so.
Is the pink variegated the normal color of yours, or the dark pink?
The variegated is the normal bloom.
Is the plant a grafted one? If so find the graft and see if the solid pink bloom is growing from below the original graft. I grow several variegated plants and sometimes there will be a normal bloom among the variegated. It has a lot to do with the ever changing gene expression in the blooms.
