What happened to frostbite?

This is too much. It's been raining, and of course freezing now. We usually have frostbite weather this time of year. Last week it was fog and then beautiful hoarfrost. Hope all the snow doesn't melt, or we'll lose some perennials.

I think of Ohio winters as long seasons of rain, frost and mud. We get so little snow any more, so it's just damp and yucky most of the time here. C'mon spring!
