Monika, what a happy looking relaxed kitty. great picture. My Blue dog was about worn out from being handled so much while the grankids were here. the 15 year old had Blue in her hands about all the time until I went to bed and shut the door so Blue stayed with me. She has been sleeping all afternoon since they left. Donna
Christmas stress
You are right Liz. We should be thinking poor poor poor Brugie's kitten having to put up with an untrained dog owner.
Does the poor poor poor kitty even have a name yet Brugie?? Just think what she is thinking about your behavoir and sleeping habits.
I bet she is working so hard to train you right and you are being totally uncoorperative. She must really wonder how she will break you of playing with water inside like a 5 year old boy!
Well, her name is Baby, just like your bird. She definitely has me trained. I don't know where she is right now and that is scary.
Whatever you do Brugie, do not get up and give Baby a chance to see your butt from where ever she is hiding!
This is a flashback from a year ago when I thought I was going to lose my mind as well as all my upholstered furniture. I was desperate for an answer to my problems. Everyone was so good trying to help and I'm grateful but am still laughing.

LOLOL this is too funny! (I know its not) but just picturing everyone is making me giggle.
Try having six of them climbing up your back when you're trying to clean out the litter box! I was putting them in the bathtub to play with some of their toys, but that's not working anymore. They will be seven weeks old tomorrow, and can get out of the tub as fast as I put them in it. Four of the six weighed 1 lb. 4 oz. on Sunday, the last time that I weighed them, so you really feel it when they climb on you now!
So cute! How long did they stay together like that? Seconds?
My wife and I adopted two kittens who celebrated their first Christmas this year. Their mother was an escaped siamese who had a litter in a friend's basement. Sweetpea and Clementine are now around 7 months old. Our 17 year old grumpy tom had died this spring and it is so wonderful to have pets in the house again. They are truly a blessing. Even if the furniture is a little worse for the wear.
Please, Shirley, dont give up! Baby will settle down, when she is becoming older. The day will come, when you will miss the kitten games because Baby has grown up.
I feed all cats before we go to bed. They are not allowed to be in our bedroom during the night to save our toes and to avoid cat games in, around and under our beds.
Ronna and eje, your kittens are so cute. The last two nights, Baby has been locked out of the living area of the house. I have slept well, but boy, when morning comes, at about 6:45, she starts screeming to get in where I am. That is the end of the sleep then. I have no idea where she is right now or what she is doing, but I know she will be in trouble. LOL!!
They always pile up on each other to sleep, no matter where they are. When they wake up, everybody goes in a different direction. I was wrong about the weight, that was at six weeks last Wednesday, they weighed 1 1/2 pounds on Sunday. They're gaining fast now that they eat solid food. Willow (the light tabby with the pink collar) has been climbing the baby gate & escaping from the bathroom since last night. She's done it at LEAST a dozen times!
Eje what a couple of cuties! I love kittens.
Kyle, want one? LOL!!
Ronna: Love those tiger kitties! I have only had dark tiger cats all my life.
I have really enjoyed reading all this. Mine were always outside during the day, so they were ready to sleep better at night. I would never have one declawed, think it is cruel, unless they are completely housecats and don't have to defend themselves outside. Shirley: Sure hope Baby grows up fast! Then she won't be as much fun, tho'. I'd take the little "Devil" in a minute!
