I bought some SuperThrive at HD recently. Has anyone had experience with this product? Thanks for any info!

SuperThrive?
Gretchen,
I use it after I transplant certain sensitive plants to aleve transplant shock. Some people swear that it works well, but I can see no evidence of its effect, but I suppose it's possible that it does ease transplant shock.
Thanks Clare! The bottle says to use it all the time. I stopped by my favorite gardening center yesterday and inquired about it. The gentleman I spoke with absolutely swears by it as a vitamin additive.
Vitamin B is used in solution to aleviate transplant shock.
I see no reason to use it all the time.
I just dissolve on of my B-50's in a gallon of warm water and use that. You can use it along side of what you usually feed with. It's not rocket science but I use it when I think about it. If you don't have any around just buy the cheapest B complex you can find at Wally World or where ever :0)

why would vitamin b complex help this? hmmmmm
That is the basic anti transplant shock treatment.
;o)
Kaufmann, we sell it @ the Farm where I work. Landscapers swear by it. We sell it in different sizes up to half gal.
They say a good dose of it will cause the plants to root better, I guess faster & bloom more. They yell if we run out.
:~)
Thanks Smockette. I have heard all kinds of good things about it!
I rooted cuttings off of my White Shrimp plant & took to DonnaB in MS, Busybee & Lalady in LA. They were started in a large glass vase w/a couple of drops of SuperThrive. I think they thought they were healthy & well rooted in less than a month.
Sometimes I use the B and sometimes Alaska fish fertilizer I don't see a lot or as far as that goes I can't tell the difference. No matter both are cheap. Ernie
one of the best products that I have found is a fertilizer called agri-gro. It is 100 % organic. look them up on the web. www.agri-gro.com
