LOL Vi! Actually thay had them by the check out! Hanging down from a metal pole, one after the other!
This is too cool!!!
I bought the one that kell has. It will handle up to 3 sensors (that must be ordered). I will call the number and order 2 more sensors. My temp has gotten down to 36F and there was no damage to the plants in the GH.
Cindy
Thank you Violabird.
We never looked in the garden center
Check the both of them out tomorrow.
Sandy
I got one today and it was in the garden dept.
Shoot--I went to the "electrical" dept. and the girl led me down each aisle and all over until I suggested the Garden Dept., then we still didn't see it and she had to call the manager and ask! It was not at any check out here--they had never even heard of it, lol!
Gosh, you saved the box? Good Girl.
LOL Brugie, I do have the box but I can't find the directions and want to order 2 more sensors that Cindy talked about.

Hi Kell:
I just got back from Home Depot.
They do have the one you are showing, they want$29.00 down here. A $10.00 mark up is pretty high.
The store manager wasn't there to talk with. I did tell them what it was selling for in other stores.
I'll keep trying.
Sandy
Really! I paid $19 and things here are usually more expensive!
Kell, x-mas is fast approaching. i noticed a lot of prices are suddenly going high from last week's prices. think about it ;).
You could be right the Holiday's are here.
I will buy one . It's a gift for a friend.
I live at the Jersey shore, usually thing's go up for us in the summer.
This is a nice item and maybe the price did go up for X-mas. $10.00 is a big hike but, I may have to do it.
Were very limited for stores, Lowes is coming in. Good competition.
Thank you all
Sandy
good idea Ma Vie. Here they have a fancier GE one:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?query=wireless+digital+thermometer&sosortproperty=1&ht=1&from=R10&BasicSearch=
and at Target both but the cheaper one is $29. anyway.

I paid 29.00 in Moreno Valley too. Couln't find any for 19.99, and they did not have the GE brand here either.
Thanks all. I will try E-bay
Gourd you paid 29.00 maybe that's the price.
Kell, you got a good del. Start a co-=op.... Me First!
Sandy
76summerwind, my hubby picked a different one up from Lowes for 22.97, Acu-Rite also digital wireless thermaometer with remote sensor for outside. I make take the other one back.
Good evening:
I went to HD today..
They moved everything around, unbelieveable.
Kell, I made a copy of your picture and the price, so that all of you know had the price been 29.00 and kell, paid 19.00. They would have matched the difference plus 10%
You were right Kell, the one I looked at was 29.00 A different brand.
I bought 3 and keeping one for me.
Having a time setting it up. Kell, the one you put outside does it show a red light?
If anyone wants this, I'll be glad to pick it up for you and ship it.
I also bought a small electric shovel! Were expecting snow and I'm not a lover of shoveling! It will clear steps and make a path to the car with little effort. My big concern were the dog runs. They have to get out. Last year they looked like little snow men.
Sandy
P.S. this item was moved to the lamp section , this is why I couldn't find it. Thought all of you should know this .
Earthling hello:
I thought I put information about a heater in favorites, can't find it!
I was searching the web, for a small heater..
I went into google and came up with a name "Econo heaters"
A nice unit small and you put it on a wall. The price was 59.00 and very economical to run.
If you can't find it I'll search for you later.
Sandy
P.S. I am going to get one just haven't gotten around to it...
Sandy,
u got me wondering. when i bought my atomic clock, i did not have to set the time. immediately after i put in the batteries, i hang it on the wall. i did not have to set the time. it set by itself. since then, i have not changed batteries nor do i have to set time. it does it automatically.
i wonder if Kell has to set her atomic clock. hello Ms. Kell, where are uuuuuuuuu??????? LOL!!!
Thanks MaVieRose:
I looked at the instructions and they aren't that clear, at least to me!!
Yeah Ms Kell, where are you?
I'm also going to check out the atomic clock. And the cloth for some of my plants.
Thank you dear...
Sandy
Hello:
Finally figured out how to set this up.
Ilove it, went out and bought a few more as stocking stuffers..
Thanks Kell, for posting this little gem.
Were getting bad weather at the shore. This will come in handy.
If any one is thinking about it, it's worth the small amount of money.
Sandy
I've had an Atomic clock for about 3 yrs now, love it!
Sorry Sandy! I kept meaning to come back to this thread and take a pic of the receipt. I did indeed just pay $19.99. I went back and bought another one. They have them in the electrical department now with plugs and in the lighting department hanging down a corner of a shelf.
I couldn't have helped you anyway, my DH is the setter upper here!
Hi Kell:
Yes, that is where I found it also.
I did set it up. It had instructions on the back also.
I bought more . Nice stocking stuffer.
Thanks again for the thread, nice of you to share.
Did you read the thread on the huge bags I bought to store the bulbs, at HD?
Sandy
