I need some help for taking cuttings of these two plants for propagating purposes. Is it possible to take cuttings and root in water?
Thank you so much.
Propagating scheflera and dracaena
I think soil is better than water. I use vermiculite 50% pearlite 50% for cuttings. If you keep temperature at 68~77F, they will take root in 3~4 weeks. Don't get the top and bottom mixed up of dracaena.
Thanks goldenfish for your help.
I´m wondering... what would happen if I plant a Dracaena´s cane (without leaves, just a section of the stem) upside down?
Have you planted Dracaena upside down? I've never tried because my book say that! LOL So I'm believing the roots will come out from only foot of the cuttings of Dracaena. Correct me if I'm wrong:)
TERESA1288,
I heared that Dracaena is possible to take cuttings and root in water! I knew that after I posted above.
