I understood the question. They are crimson - fuschia ... more like rose than red.

mine came out to be hot pink. i really dont think there is a true red mg. if there is i havent seen it yet.

Mine are crimson rambler they are more deep pink than red, but when it got colder they got more red, here is a picture:

Actually - it's not a morning glory but - the Cardinal Climber is a true red. It's a tiny trumpet flower with different leaves than the MG - Ipomoea family - I like its little red blooms. Almost forgot about that one. The only true red I've seen in the MG strains.

That double (botan) is another more-pink-than red ... red when compared to the blue but that's about it.
