Looks Good, Willow. My trifasciata was eaten to the stems by caterpillars. How did you keep them off of yours?

For some reason I haven't seen many Cat's this year. I don't know if it was to wet or what but almost no damage on anything from Cat's......
Have you checked out my post on vines and climbers on this........I gave you some credit tooo Flicker.......

Apparently the big convention was in my yard. I certainly went all out providing the best eats! And the butts told everyone they knew. It was a plague!!
I am new to this - and a keen gardener from Australia.
I have just purchased some Passiflora Trifasciata and Passiflorea Coccinea seeds.
Can any of you experienced gardeners give me some tips on germinating these seeds?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanking you

Well where do I start. From all the information I have recived on these the only way you might have really good success with seeds is:
Soak them in pure orange juice 24 hrs.
Plant seeds juice and all in a good quality potting soil.
Keep them moist but not wet.
And it can take them up to a year to germinate. So I am hoping I will get some seeds fresh off the plant and plant those. I am told that is the best way to get them to germinate faster is to plant them right off the vine.
I have tried several times to get seeds of the passies to sprout and had no sucess so all I can say is try. Keep good notes on how you did it and then share it with us all....
Wish I could be more helpful but this has been my experience and I am hoping some one comes along with a method that works.
I have better luck getting cuttings to root than seeds to sprout.... :o(
This photo is one of the same plant about a year later. They are certainly worth the trouble to get them to grow, very pretty delicate flowes and beautiful leaves....
