Mountain laurel seeds

I need to know how to plant these seeds. Do I soak them first, or score them? Are they hard to grow from seed?

Are these Texas mountain laurel or "real" mountain laurel?

These are the Tx mountain laurel. I did have one response to my question,,and the man sent me a great link of how to grow them from seed. So much wonderful info on here!
