From now on, let them look at grass or weeds or whatever they had before and keep your plants in your yard to enjoy for yourself, your family and your company. Oh, Kristi, how awful! Let us know what we can replace, when you've had a chance to sort it out. I agree with the others, I wouldn't plant anything there next year, let it look [deleted]! And, since they don't want to be good neighbors, I wouldn't hesitate to complain about loud parties, noisy dogs, unruly children......whatever! After all, you didn't start it, they did.
Datdog, I hate when things like that happen,I had one neighbor I wanted to see leave, she made it easy, I called narcotics and within several months(and many calls from me and other neighbors) she got her house raided and she was jailed for narcotics possesion. She was out of there 30 days later. She was evicted. And the night before she left she got drunk and stood on her front porch and blamed all of us for her getting busted.
If there is anything I can do for you please dont hesistate to ask, and buy a pink flamingo with some quick set cement for spring. hee hee
I suggest sending them a letter advising them that if there is any further incident of vandalism on your property, you will have no other option but to file a written complaint & obtain a TRO against them. If nothing else, it'll scare the

Once again thank you so much for your kind and heart felt offers for plants. I'm really okay in the plant dept. and don't need anything. After the plant shock factor wore off, I was just SO very SAD about the people factor. The lady that went off the deep end on me has always been very nice- a little high strung. But I thought she was a nice person. She has two children that are wonderful girls. The oldest would babysit my kids from time to time.
The other man involved (he lives down the street) apoligised to me and said he'd help me dig through the pile of plants to sort out what I wanted. Of course at the time I was so mad tears were rolling down my face. I bet he did feel bad, LOL....
Hopefully it will all blow over soon. But if it doesn't I don't think it will be a loss for me. I never said anything mean, hurtful, or was I rude. I just couldn't understand the anger they showed. However I did see their true side. So maybe that is all I need to know.

this sounds like trespassing to me. I have a lot of patients with people but i would have for sure called the police... Do you suppose if you didnt like what they plant next year in thier yard you can just rip it up and they would understand? Ohhhh people can be so mean!

Kristi, I am as appalled as everyone else about what your unkind neighbors did to you and your beloved garden. I agree with Padre, also that "They have stolen your plants, don't let them steal your peace of mind, too." It must have been a part of their design to hurt you personally, or they would have talked to you first. Please don't let them have the triumph.
