A big Texas 'WELCOME' to you Glenda. Any friend of Arlene's is a friend of mine.
Glad to finally put a face with the name Arlene.
Pam

No problem Arlene. Most people now know where I live so I can have it here again if that is okay with everyone else. You worry too much....it will be a lot of fun. We will have to chat via land line and talk about dates and such later this winter when there aren't things that still need to be done outside.
Welcome from the Canadian contingent. I too found DG this spring (well still winter up here) and have found everyone friendly helpful funny and incredibly knowledgeable. I too am a novice gardener - long on enthusiasm but short on experience. This site saves me from making way more dumb mistakes than I would normally. You've got a great gal/pal in Arlene and from our on line talks a great advisor in the chefing department too. Have fun here and check out the canadian forum too. Sometimes we have more things in common than you might think - snow cold that sort of thing.
Glenda: Welcome from another Iowan. Always glad to see more Iowans join. You will be like the rest of us, in no time. Addicted to Dave's and loving every minute of it. I live in south central Iowa, about 20 miles north of Brugie. You have to come to the spring roundup, it is soo much fun.
Glenda, Welcome from the green/rainy pacific northwest; Vancouver, Washington. Arlene personifies the New Millineum (sp?) woman. What area is she not accomplished in? But I am not a competitive broad. No way. I still make the meanist peanut butter and jelly this side of the Rockies. You will find this site and these dear souls a haven. I remember the year I planted some marigolds and thought I was the gardener on the block. Even the most experienced is patient and full of wise advice. Again, welcome to Daves.
Welcome from northern Ohio, Glenda ! This is such a great site ! Everyone is friendly and helpful. It is so much fun to keep in touch with folks who share common interests ! DG's database is the best on the web. And the photo thread gives us a chance to "see" each other. Welcome - enjoy !
Glenda, welcome from Oregon! I know you will love everyone here as much as I do! Don't be shy, jump right in and enjoy!!
Glad to see another Iowan here! Thanks Arlene for sharing and caring - comes so naturally for you gal. You are gonna love Daves Garden Glenda, roll up your sleeves and dig right in - we are all here to enjoy and help.
Brugie - looking forward to the next round up so I can meet all these new people - I'll bring SticknLuLu for sure. Hello to all the new members - make yourselves at home and limber up those keyboard fingers and post, post and post some more!
Edited because I'm dumb about this and did it twice sorry. Ernie

Hi Glenda nice to have you here I'm sure you will have fun with this. This place will treat you to a diverse group of people all nice.
None nicer than your friend Arlean however but that can be our secret.
This place will become addictive to you if you let it and I hope it is as good for you as it is for a lot of the folks here.
North West Washington Welcomes you ,I welcome you as do all of us here at Daves. Regards Ernie
Welcome IowaNovice, to the friendliest gardening site around. You are just going to love it here. I've only been here a few months and I just feel like part of the family now. Everyone is just wonderful and so willing to help out. If it's an explaination of how to do something or sending an emergency dose of pollen for a new Brugmansia. Oh, and the fun we have is more than I can describe. You will just have to find out for yourself. Once again, WELCOME TO DAVE'S GARDEN. I hope you will grow to love it here as much as I do. I have made some of the must wonderful friends here and found friends right in my little part of the world. I live in Tombstone, Arizona and there aren't alot of people out here. But wouldn't you just know it, I found someone just about 20 miles from me that belongs to Dave's.
Just Show's to go ya, it's small world after all.
