Ok, lemme wipe my chin! I grew some Gunnera Manicata because I wanted leaves that size! They are babies this year though! I didn't know EE's got that big-would either of you (root or lisa)like to trade for some black Magic Colo.?! :D

Jenks,I have only my breeding stock in now,I will keep you in mind this spring,if fact remind me!LOL!I do get a few babies every year,but I cut way back on these big guys,to make room for other plants.I'm sure we can get one in your garden next spring.
Do you have luck with Gunnera?I would think it would be to hot down there.
Oh root! I will be SO grateful! By the time I got the Gunnera to germinate, it was halfway through the growing season-I only did 3 seeds-still have more-and got one plant. I had to do a cold cycle with them in the fridge. It is about a foot tall right now. I was thinking of putting in a pond just for it to grow beside! So if it starts looking like it's hurting next year, I will certainly be installing a pond! I always wanted some koi too!
