I think the main thing I have learned is that more cuttings are killed by over watering than under watering.I place the cutting in a pot of(insert your favorite medium)and soak
thoroughly once, then allow to completely dry before watering again.

Yep...gone2seed you are right, exactly right...didnt want to learn this way though ACK!!! My poor Rosamond Brug!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Annabelle, it seems like the Rosamond has been doing that. Not sure why... The ones I did in moss started to die from the top down... but when I opened them up to toss them... they were rooting.

Just make sure you don't water it too much. Keep the soil damp... but not wet. The top part might die back right to the soil level... but there's a good chance it's still alive and is putting out roots. Don't give up on it too soon.

Just look how organized and neat Tracey is. There sure are many potential beauties there and no doubt we will be seeing some by May.

Hey sue,
I just repotted it...and when I removed it ...believe it...there were 2 roots LOL...keeping my fingers crossed *sigh*

Only adding minimal water now...But you were so right, it was wilting from the top down. but it's STILL ALIVE!!!!!

Thanks hon :-)

Keep ya informed...Im afraid Ive been bit by the BRUG!
