Our house is surrounded by holly bushes who get
- every fall - spider webs all over the underside of the leaves or so it seems. I cannot find a pest of holly
that does this - anyone have any idea of what
could cause this?
holly bush question
Roxoe, those spiders aren't pests, and they are harmless. They mature in the late summer and fall, mate, spin their webs for capturing prey, lay their eggs and die. All you've done is provide a good habitat for them. No worries.
That is wonderful - thanks - as long as they weren't hurting
their hosts
