I moved from Ft.Worth to Dayton(Oh.) last year and brought a Turk's Cap with us.Now the winter will kill it if I leave it outdoors so how do I propagate it?Plus,it has grown something that looks like small strawberries on it with seeds on the inside of them. Are these SEEDS?And are they good? Thanks for any help. Dirtz
Turk's Cap....Propagation way's?...
I am in zone 8, so mine is in the ground year round..Yes those are seed pods and they should grow for you..Here they re-seed all over the place and also run everywhere by runner roots..I would pot the seeds and place outdoors in a protected place..They wil get some winter chill and should sprout next spring just as they would in nature. You could also pot up a small rooted piece to over winter inside.

I'm in zone 7 and mine is in the ground year round also. I have lots of seedlings under mine that came up where the seeds fall.
Is Turks Cap same as Tiger Lilly?
No Shoe, this is different.. Check this out..

OHhhh...purty! Thanks for the link, Larkie.
Dirtz, are you wanting the regular Turk's Cap or the (don't laugh) Mexican Turk's Cap?
