We had a frost last night and where the seeds are are'nt totally dry. Will I still be able to pick these to use. Help please. New to all of this.

I'd certainly collect the seed. Frost and 20 below zero are two completely different things. The seed are so tiny and easy to collect. Collect alot, just in case the frost may have harmed them in any way to lower the germination rate next spring.

The frost won't hurt the nicotaina seeds. I cut off the stems and put stem into a paper grocery bag, let dry for a couple of days in the bag. Then close the top and shake the bag and you will get lots of seed. Take out the stems. Then pour the seeds out on a newspaper, paper plate and then save in baggies or do up in seed packets.
