That's the evening sun on our backyard neighbor's cattle ranch....the golden hills of California.

which doesn't make sense in the light of day. :-)
What I meant was that our Winter lasted clear through most of Spring this year......this was an April storm. Some of the May garden tours were in 45F temps and POURING!!

I still have plenty of this Datura tatula seeds and TONS more still in the pod that are drying on the plant.
If you have emailed me and NOT heard back, try again! My spam filters are fairly aggressive because of my website and for some reason it just filtered out Annabellegabby's email to me. (I just happened to scan the list of deletes to see what new keywords I need to add for the porn sites and there she was in among the garbage.) This was a followup email to me, not one coming directly from DG.
For those of you who have already sent SASE for Peek-A-Boo, no need to send additional postage....just let me know and I'll include both in the original mailing.

Happenstance, I got the seeds yesterday evening. Thanks so much I can't wait to see them in my garden next year. You know in this part of the country we start to plant our stuff in January so it will go out by March......So it won't be long and I can have lots of pretty flowers to share with all of you.........

Well silly me! I was going to go over and try and find some official info for Annabellegabby on the proper way to plant and nurture these seeds.....ran a search on Datura seeds and up came my user ID on a forum called "Mail Call".
Who knew!!!???? I sure didn't even know it existed, so sorry for not responding to those of you who have posted messages to me. I have now added that forum to my preferences. Just over a month on DG and I'm still stumbling around.

Perhaps some of the experts will jump in here with their favorite methods for germinating Datura seeds. Here is a link (scroll down to the section "How to Grow Datura") that gives some pretty detailed info....to be honest when they started talking about kelp my eyes glazed over and I think I'll just scarify, soak, stick in soil and hope for the best. :-)
