Help with Lantana

I have lantana that I would like to expand. Is there a special way that I can do this with out distroying the plant?

Take a 6" cutting from the tops and strip the leaves off the lower half of the stem. Cut off any flowers or seedheads . Stick the bare stem into the pot with an already watered, good draining potting mix (Not potting soil). Water again and put the pot in the shade. Don't let it dry out or drown it, either, and it should root in about six weeks or less. Figure a loss of about 50% to be conservative.

I've got a pretty lantana too. I'll try it.

You can also root these in water. Make sure you don't have any leaves touching the water or they will rot. Once they have roots, put them in a moist soil mixture and keep them well-watered for a couple of weeks. Then, you can transplant them directly into the ground.

Thanks smiln, That sounds like my way to go. Stick it in water, wait for the roots, stick it in the ground. So easy.
I'm all for the easy way out.LOL :?]
