Just A thought.........Where does Mother Nature get her gelatin??????

Seattle, WA(Zone 8a)

Gelatin comes from ground-up horse and cow hooves and bones. Sometimes pig bones, so Muslims beware!

Agar is derived from seaweed.

Mmmm.... seaweed....

If I were all of you I would just drop them in the ground as they reseed their selves out here. But I'm sure there is a more appropriate way of going about it. If the seeds don't work just let me know and I'll send more.
Good luck to yall. Hehehe

jan,
..........that's exactly what I plan to do after the ground thaws.....but meantime I couldn't help my self ,I poked a couple into a potted brug that is spending the winter inside ;-)

Interesting method. I may give it a try. http://www.canadiangardening.com/regions_pr2.shtml Thanks Scooter.
P.S. I just bought some alocasia at Logee's. I image you HD clearance beat their sale prices. http://www.logees.com/store/ and click on alocasia on the left.

Scooterbugs, that would be wonderful. I would love a side shoot. How is the one I sent you doing? I hope it recovered from the mailing.
Let me know what the postage will be and I'll send it to you.
Thanks.

Update.......
......I am finding the red yucca seedlings to be very slow growing, so start them early if you are not growing them outdoors in a zone where they can live year round.
....I'm thinking that this slow growth could be caused by the time of year, so after Jan. things should start picking up I hope =)
IMHO
