I got some seed in a round robin this year. I hope to have seed later this year. If you dont get any let me know and I will send some when mine have seed.

Just a fair warning, seeds marked as such have been going around for about four years. I've grown plants labeled as such. Found out last year, the ones I received were actually L. nepetifolia. Still a nice plant, but not the right one. It happens. Not a big deal. I thought I would point this out so you can try to verify you are getting the one you want.

Hi Delise, and yes Badseed, I grew out L. nepetifolia thinking it was L. leonurus. It was pretty, but not what I was expecting. If yours are "the real thing," I would love some.

lhughes, I just bought seeds for Leonotis leonurus from seeds of change. I think they would be the "real" thing. 4ft to 10 ft plant? I would be glad to share some with you. Send you addy to me and I get them out to you next week.

Margie, how long does the pkg say it takes for leonurus to bloom? I don't doubt you have the right ones. :) I meant traded seeds in my post above. From the pics I have seen, the leaves are very different and the flowers are bigger on leonurus. I didn't know the difference when I started growing them since they weren't very common.

Margie, I would love to give them a try, thanks. You have mail

Michele, when do you start your leonotis seeds? I have some of the L. leonurus seeds. Got them from a friend and I had seen the pictures of her plant, so I know that is what I have. Just want to make sure I don't start them too early or late. I saved some seed from the plants you sent me too.

Hi Shirley ;)
I am pretty sure I started them late Feb or early March. I know they were outside to harden off in my hoopster in mid April. If I manage to get anything going, I'm gonna have to do it soon. LOL

Thanks Michele. I'll hold off a little while then. I don't want them to get tall and leggy if I can help it.
