Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

That is pretty!!!!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Doc, I have a plant you can dig up when you are here. It buded for me this year, but the grasshoppers ate the buds. I think it needs a little more time than I can give it in my zone.

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Bward, would you by chance have gotten any seeds from it? I would love to trade you anything for some of them!

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Ohiobreezy,it is easy from cuttings and there should be plenty of those available in about a month.
Bward, mine SOMETIMES come back in the spring.I take cuttings just to be sure.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

All I can say is WOW....Beautiful flower...... :o)

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Hi Barbara, You are not too far from me, if you will cut it back before the first frost and place the stalks in a bucket of water just like brugs, they will root and you will have plants to set out in the spring.

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

If you have some extra cuttings, I would love to have a couple of them Bward........ :o)

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

I have two bushes this year that are from cuttings last year. I hope I can catch them before the frost hits them. I should have lots of cuttings too.

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Sounds great Bee, Let me know when they are ready.... :o)

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Sure will.

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Hey Bward, that cutting you sent me week before last....it rooted already........boy that was quick.....thanks so much.... :o)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

WillowWasp, I see you already have one. Thats great. I have only cut one limb off but will cut all of them before a frost. Lilypon, mine has not made any seed last year or this year so far. I have been told that they do make seed though. I know a cutting is a sure thing. Mine have lots of blooms on it yet to open.

I got two seeds from mine last year and this year we had a frost before it even bloomed. It was a plant that I held over. Think my 2 seeds went to Evert. Mine got really tall and since it didn't have time to bloom this year, I have to give up on it. I need performance and it wasn't doing it up here where we have shorter summers. Very nice pictures folks!!

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Brugie, How big were the seed and where were they? Are they in a pod? I just don`t know what and where to look for them.

Plumieville, PA(Zone 6b)

What is the best way to take cuttings and root them from this plant? I have one and would like to winter it over here in 6b. did put it in the shade and do think that is why it is just now getting ready to bloom, but feel it is worth one more year of trying. But next year in more sun. Was going to give up on it till I seen this post.

Bward, you are so lucky to have those beautiful blooms!!!!just love the color!

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

miss, mine are in full sun. To take cuttings just cut the limb off and cut it up into about 8 inch length and be sure to keep them upright. Place in a clear container of water and they will root fast just like brugs. They will bloom the first year from a cutting. Hope this helps.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

If anyone does get seeds I would like to give it a try.
This year was a horrible growing year...would it bloom
if it was brought inside in the fall Brugie?

Plumieville, PA(Zone 6b)

busybee yes it does help... thank you! :)
think I goofed puting them in a shadey spot.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Barb, mine has come back every year for the past three years, but now J.T. has me worried - if his sometimes does not come back, mine is going to sooner or later not come back. Guess I had better take cuttings.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Roz, Where have you been? Emailed you-how is foot?

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Roz,your area is slightly warmer than mine.It may be just enough to make the difference.

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

Pretty Pretty Pretty!! I've never seen pink before!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Hi Barb and JT! Have not talked to you two for a while! Barb, I didn't see your email, but the grandkids have been on the computer and I let one of their friends use my web address to get a giga pet or something like that so it must have been deleted! Busybee, what else can just be put in water like the morning glory bush and brugs? That is my kind of propagating! I will have some too for anybody who wants them. I love my plant, thank you Glory!!

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Hi Roz,
I do Althea, Confederate Roses, Begonias, jews, red leaf Hibiscus and others. I try one in water and one in dirt or sand to see if they will root, whichever does the best and fastest is the way I go. Some take longer and need to be kept in fresh water.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

They produce a little seed pod just like other MG's do. Just takes a long time. As for bringing it inside.....not here. Mine was too tall. I did keep a cutting last year so I had a good start this year, but it just didn't work for me. I can't waste the space next year, so I let mine go. Wish I could help you out more with this one. It is a pretty bloom. Oh yes, the grasshoppers loved it this year too.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

busybee, where is Kentwood LA. By the way, pretty picture.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Very happy to have this one now,Thanks Shirley!
And thanks for rooting info Busybee.

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Barbra,
I am south west of you. North of Hammond La. and South of McComb, Ms. in the middle near Amite,La.

Barb,
Most of my Morning Glory trees return in the spring....I always take a few cuttings just to make sure.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Do you have different colors Glory?

Mine is just one stright shoot going up. Will it get bushy?

Busybee, yours is amazing. SoO many buds. How tall is it?

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Kell, One is about 8 ft tall and the other one is about 4 1/2 feet tall.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Maybe I should cut the top of mine off to get it bushy?

Plumieville, PA(Zone 6b)

busybee, thanks for the info, I gave it a try with cuttings last week. well they have roots already!!!! COOL
now next years garden will have them and not just one, as this years had.
now the next question, how long do I wait to put them in soil?

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

miss, I had potted mine up and kept them in the GH until spring.
