Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

Since my brug obsession is brand new & seems to be getting worse the more time I spend looking at everyone's beautiful photos....What is everyone favorite source for brugs? Thanks.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Here is my input for a favorite source. http://calastropicals.com/module/store/

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

Boo Hoo!!!! I just visited Cala Tropicals & they only have seeds... no rooted cuttings.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

Back2Back no matter where you go right now you are only going to get 12 inch rooted cuttings and as late as it is in the season they will not have enough time to grow and bloom for you I would try ebay look up nestor69 on ebay he has some really good brugs and reasonable prices he is in florida

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Try nestorw. I just left him feedback today.

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

Where can I find this nestorw?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Back to back, was it PB that is blooming from Logees? I am dying to see what theirs looks like.

Cala's brugs will thrill you, email her thru Dave's and tell her which ones you are intested in ands just see if sh ecan accomadate you. She is rooting lots now and has incredible varieties.

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Backtoback, see Cala showed up here ! LOL. She is one of our main in house brug experts not to mention a great friend of mine I met here! She also has one of the biggest collections.

Springsong, nothing wrong with Nestor's brugs but they are the more common ones. When I buy brugs, I try to get the ones that are not readily available free on this forum.

I have gotten great ones from Logees also and Native Habitat.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

Thanks Kell I am going to have to try out these two other sites but I have no more space I may have to toss a few pinks, It is so funny I have bought quite a few Brugs through mail order this year and i had alot of pinks already, so I thought I was getting some of the more common yellows, and well they bloomed last week and no offense to pink lovers but THEY WERE ALL PINK so needless to say I am on the hunt again!!! any one have any yellows they would like to send my way I would appreciate them, Thanks

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Springsng, if you can find Becca Lynn or Jessie Noel, they are two of the prettiest yellows out there. They were hybridized by our own Glory.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh no springsong....please don't 'toss' them. I'd give my first born, second born and even my thrid born!!! LOL

B2B...I'm still jealous of you....still have never seen a brug bloom in person! :(

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

Brinda e-mail me your addy and 3.95 shipping I have you some brugs!!!! and one has buds!!!

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

Cala I have some seedlings from your seeds coming up now!!But I have gave some away(TO family members) but I kept (I think ) some of a bert cross hoping (crossing my fingers) that they are yellow!!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

springsong....done! Thanks a million :)

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

Springsong, please don't toss a brug!!! Isn't there some brug law against tossing pink brugs? Please toss it my way!!!I can't imagine I could ever have too many brugs!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Next year at this time you will have too many! In the beginning you want all you see, brug lust gets you in its grasp. Then one day you look around and wonder how you got all those black grower pots all over! You remember the old carefree days where your life was not spent watering, repoting, spraying and fertilizing and you think to yourself that you are going to get rid of most of them and get no more. Then you turn on your computer to visit Dave's and see Tracey's latest Cala cross and you burn with desire. Suddenly, you think you can squeeze in 1 more growers pot if you just move them all little closer together!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

LOL Kell, I'm burning with desire! And I really don't care how many pots has to be moved(since hubby will do it...LOL) around. I just can't wait to actually see a bloom in person. Keep posting pics Kell.....this is addictive.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Kell, you are so funny. That describes how I feel. "Brug lust" I have a mister system on a timer that waters them every morning. Most are in pots but a few are in the ground. This will be my first "brug winter" and I don't know how many I can bring inside. I have a room upstairs that I plan to fill with as many as I can.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Yes, and brug lust never leaves you completely. It just takes much more of a brug to get it lusting.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

The thing I'm afraid of most is what my husband is going to say about all the black pots. He absolutely hates them. When we moved a few years ago, I dug up a bunch of daylilies, cannas, etc. and brought them with us. They sat around in those black pots for nearly 2 yrs. before everything got planted. He complained everyday. Wish I were rich and could buy a ton of those decorative thermolite pots that look like Italian pottery. Of course, if I end up with 60 or 70 brugs, that would only cost $4,000 or $5,000. LOL

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

Has anyone ever ordered from http://greenstranger.com/
The prices seem great.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh my back2back....I can see this one coming now! How much have you ordered already??? LOL

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

oh geez, back2back! why'd you have to let me see that link? I'm in trouble again!

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

I just got Nestor's price list which I can forward to anyone who'd like to see it. Decisions, decisions! So many beautiful brugs! It's so hard to decide!!!

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Back2back, I purchased some brug cuttings from him from Ebay a few weeks ago and they were huge. In just a few weeks they rooted and I had to plant them in gallon pots yester, because the root system was so big. Only one of the ones he sent didn't root, and he is replacing it for me. He's a very nice person to buy from.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Something is wrong with my computer. It keeps cutting off words. I've noticed in the last couple of posts I've sent. It has to be my computer. It couldn't be that my fingers are ahead of my brain. LOL

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

minigrannie, how do you root your cuttings? I've just been placing the cuttings in MG potting soil without rooting them first.
