First let me tell what I do. I pluck the seed pods (esp. of MGs, Spanish flag, cardinal climber, cypress vine and the others which have tinier seeds) and collect them in a cup. I crush the dry covers with my fingers there in the cup. Now, I take a winnow and blow the light material out to separate the seeds which will stay behind. It becomes a problem if it is more. Am I doing the easiest thing or is there any easier means to do so?
About cleaning seeds
Sounds like you're doing a great job Dinu. Sometimes I take a sieve and rub the chaff through the mesh, leaving behind the seeds. Either method works,it depends on the seeds that you are saving as to which one is more efficent.
Since I do not have a suitable seive right now, I have been using that method. I mean the smaller seeds.
