Help with MG's

This is the first year I've grown MG's. The flowers are beautiful but the foliage leaves a lot to be desired. Not as many leaves as I thought there would be. Now the leaves are turning yellow. What am I doing wrong?

elsie, I really think allot of it has to do with the crazy weather that we've been having this year. My MG's were full and beautiful last year and although I get some blooms off and on this year, the foliage is lacking in that department. I hardly even have any foliage at all :(
They look really sad this year but then my Black eyed susan vine looks way better than last year. Go figure........lol

I have all folage and no blooms and is growing like crazy and vines taking over everywhere.
