a beauty for sure. who did you get it from on ebay, Kristi?

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Thanks Ruby! Kell do you remember the thread on the not pink favorite last fall. I got it from the same seller. I'll have to look up the past thread. I'm not sure if it is PF or not, but it's looking good so far.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Gosh Kristi, that one is horrible too! Just look at that dark color! You better mail it to me with the other one. :) :) :)

Very nice rich color indeed. Love the dark pink tone it has. Can't wait for more pictures :)

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Thanks Arlene for the link. Yep, it's the same. I'll have to read over it later! Right now it's ME time. My hubby took the kids bowling. This is the FIRST time in about two months that I've been home alone, can you believe that? I'm grilling myself dinner and pouring a big glass of wine. All for ME!!! *madly laughing*
Cheers- Kristi

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Whoopee, have a real good time, hope you can walk ok by the time they get home! Don't hiccup!

Pink Favorite is a beauty, take real good care of it.
See, all good things come to those who wait..and wait.......

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I thought it was going to be the same as Deb had.

Very nice!! I just murdered 2 - 2 lb lobsters! I had to cook them 1 at a time they were so big. It was a terrible experience. My Mom is already almost done with hers but I have not started yet. Kind of took the fun out of it. I raided my Dad's wine cellar and am imbibing as I type ... trying to forget! LOL Where is your DH when you need him!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I remember Monika saying it might be HG 90-95. I was so looking forward to the dark color on mine and it is blooming a pale pink. Nothing like yours or Deb's. It is obviously going to bloom different in different climates and with a difference in soils. It is pretty, but may be one that I'll have to let go this fall. Will see what it does when the weather cools down. Yours is a great color Kristi.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Kell someone has to take care of pollinating the brugs at home!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Grab a ziplock and send me some of that Lob!Glad your not starving!LLLLOL!
Kristi,Amazing color!!!!!!!
Kell, try to get some lobster Doo while you are out east!Sase!

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Kristi, I was just looking up that ebay seller to see what she had to offer, and was amazed that she was selling Water Lettuce, and people are buying it! I need to start selling mine, lol.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Lobster doo! LOL Root. Well mine is gone............. and it was delish! I had to take a hammer to it, the shells were so hard. Glad I ate it before I read about lobster doo!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Accckkk......well if makes our brugs grow, I'm all for it!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

I'm back! They were only gone for a little over a hour. I was barely done cooking and didn't even have a chance to pour my wine. Should have hit Kell up for some lobster- after it was cooked of course. Can't stand to see them alive.
Shirley, yours turned out light pink? Did you get yours from Deb? I'll have cuttings in the fall if you'd like some. Thanks root- you need some cuttings? Mary get to selling so you can buy more plants! I'm with you on the lobster doo Gloria YUCK!!!!! I don't care if it makes the plants grow or not! No lobster poop in the yard.
How could I forget Chele? There's cuttings for you to little lady! Flo- I'll snap another picture when my camera charges.

Very Pretty. Thanks Kristi, but I'm going to pass. I'm getting too many pinks and need to work on the yellows and oranges for a while. Yes, I got mine from WaterlooLily. I think she bought hers online too.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Oh my, that is so very dark, I'll take Shirley's cutting, lol!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

But, but,...I was going to take Shirley's cutting and root her one for when she gets tired of all those yellow ones.

Forgot to say,it's getting prettier Kristi, love it!

Big fat sneer on my face! Who ya callin' little?? LOL I need to send you something besides brugs because I don't think I have anything you don't! LOL That flower is awesome!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Here is a inside shot from last night. I stepped on a big honking slug taking this picture so it's not as clear but it does show the color.
Chele now you know I don't need any more plants! I still have hostas in pots that I purchased early spring. How sad is that?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Hey, don't feel too bad. I still have seedlings in cell packs growing in the hoopster! LOL I put some much attention on the brugs, ears and bananas, I think everything else just sat!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Mine has buds on it but I think it will be a couple weeks yet before I see any blooms. It will be interesting to see what mine looks like this year compared to last year. Shirley, can you post a pcture of yours? Nice coloring Kristi! Last year mine had 6 tendrils on them.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Kristi, does yours' have 6 points? I tried to count them in last pic and it sure looks like it.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yep, it has six also. Deb- what are you calling yours? Did yours look like this last season?

Pink Favorite NOT is what we call it. Monika I believe at one time said it could be called by Pink Favorite - sellers name. I had a couple threads on it here at Dave's with photos. It was very vibrant coloring last year. A few of the blooms even opened up white before turning. It was really fun to watch. I will dig up the other link and post it.

I have another one that is suppose to be Pink Favorite also budding right now, leaves are different than on the PF NOT. I was able to send just a few cuttings out last year as it was not that big of a plant - will be interesting to see how the others do elsewhere.

Brugie...Am I growing one of these clones too? It came from you this spring. One bud is about to open any min.now. I'm holding my breath in anticipation!!! After seeing DD's pics...I'm getting so excited! Imagine seeing that beautiful flower in brug garden #1 ???
Oh-Oh...beginning to turn blue from all this breath holding.LOL Guess it will take a bit longer for it to open. OK... It's back to regular breathing for now.

DDog...The color and shape are Exquisite!!! Great pics!!! Hoping to see more in the coming days!!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Kristi,I would love a cutting of this one!LMK.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Actually, Monika said it might be HG 90-95. She said it wasn't Pink Favorite because the leaves, for one thing, were too wide. I stress the word MIGHT, in the above sentence. This is stated by Monika on the Pink Favorite Not thread from last fall.

Deb, I'll try to get a picture when it has bloom again.

http://davesgarden.com/t/361913/ About 1/3 of the way down the thread is where Monika speaks about this brug.
