Lovely Monika and I also like it the color that it is. The two different colors of pink look pretty. What causes some of the double ones to not drop the second skirt?

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

When I first saw the picture, I thought of the little ballerina girl in my jewlery box when I was a young girl. When you opened the box, the ballerina jumped up and started twirling around. She was dressed in pink outfit with a big skirt. I'm racking my brain to figure out what the song was that the music box played.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Why?????????

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Almost all flowers were deformed. I have some more doubles out of that cross which seem to have the same problem.
They have two calyxes, one in one. The flower inside is a triple or even with four skirts. Its inherited: two flowers in one.

I will wait until the next seedlings starts to open its first bud. Then I will make pictures for you to see.
