computer printing ???help me!
Is this something you printed here on DG? What was the page? Can you copy and paste the URL in here so I can take a look-see?
some one has posted it already.
its: http://www.backyardgardener.com/tm.html
thanks again dave!
Ah, I see. Try printing in "Landscape" mode, instead of "Portrait".
dave
looks about the same
Don't know what to say, then. The backyardgardener made it in such a way that would make it virtually impossible to print out the thing. I'm not insulting him, it's just that the information contained within is hard to fit on one line for printing purposes.
If it were me making that page, I would have split it up so each entry had 4 or 5 lines, with a blank line between entries, so that you could easily print it and view it without scrolling over, etc.
but it's not my site, and I don't know where to get an original copy of that information (it is originally from Thompson and Morgan, but I can't find it, and don't want to take his copy) so I can't make the page available here for your benefit.
Dave
thanks for your help.

Hi Dori,
I don't know if this will help you with your printer ~ On my Epson printer I was able to print it by going to the printer properties and clicking the landscape mode and then checking the 'fit to page' button under layout. It shrinks it to the page size that way.
Hi Dori,
I was able to print out the seed database by:
saving the document in my word program (Microsoft Word 97). When I printed it from there, it fit the page completely, plus, under most word programs you can easily do an edit command for text to "fit to size."
