Look what opened for me today.
Rosamond x L'Amour
Oh my . . .Look at that color! Tracey that is a beautiful plant and I love that bloom. I sure wish some of mine would start growing more and showing me what they are going to look like. You sure have had some lovely ones Tracey.
very nice!!!
It has side shoots!!! Everything is getting ready to bloom! Just about everyone of the seedlings have buds now. I just pick up my camera the minute I walk toward the greenhouse.
Wow Tracey it's beautiful. SO DARK PINK! Hide it from Kell!
TLynn, that is so pretty and the foliage looks so very healthy. Earwigs are eating on mine. I bought some Sevin today and will put it around hoping to get rid of some. Donna
Looks good!
Tracey, I just looked at it again and I cannot get over the saturation of the color throughout the bloom. So many pinks, even some of the darker ones fade to a pale color toward the calyx. I really like the solid color and the color of pink that it is. Congratulations!
Edited . . I guess I should preview before sending or either put my reading glasses on!

It's as pretty as you said it was Tracey. I can't believe how fast these are blooming for you!
Tracey, I like it. Hope mine, if they ever grow up, has close to that color. Now, I want to know what hormone you been giving your seedlings, and don't tell me you just use MG.
Larry
Very strong aurea traits in this one. Are the tendrils longer than the parents?
lovely---simply lovely
It's a beauty!
BTW ~ did you have a trainload of Canadian peat moss delivered? LOL
Tracey, your seedling is very pretty. I only had one, but it is making a Y now. I hope I get blooms as pretty as yours.
Tracey...it's a beauty....can I get in line for a cutting?
Hi Gloria! I sure will put your name on one!
Larry, you don't believe the MG story???
Beautiful flower Tracey.
Beautiful shape and color.
STUNNING!!!GO USA!
You go girl!!!
This is one of Susie's crosses, she did good! The tendrils are not as long as l'amour, but the color was there as soon as it opened. The foliage is beautiful, even through a horrible spidermite infestation, it just stayed this green. I noticed that on some of the crosses the mites really affected the foliage, but on the L'amour and Rosamond crosses they don't seem to affect them as bad, if at all. Then again the parents don't seem to be affected as much. I has Versi Alba sitting right in between L'Amour and Rosamond, it was terrible looking, but they both looked great. Snowbanks is also super sensitive to them, so watch them!
Liz that Canadian Peat Moss is some good stuff in the clay we have here!
it really is beautiful, Susie did good.
Tracey,
I too have had lots of problems with spidermites this year especially in the GH. I thought spidermites liked hot and dry weather....nothing dry about our weather.
So tell me does this beauty have a name yet?
Tracey, are you still battling spidermites?? I've been fortunate this year, they haven't been so bad.
I'm afraid to say anything about spidermites.......haven't seen the first one this year! WAIT! I'll go check, they are probably out there now! I know the mosquitoes are in full force, don't even want to go out, but need to water.
Tracey & Susie that is a beauty.

Congrats Susie & Tracey . . . that is a beauty! I finally have a few of these up! Yeah!!!! I am standing in line behind all the others!
I'm not going to ask for cuttings. Still hoping that mine will be just as pretty as yours. If not, look out. I'll be getting in line. LOL!! Tracey, my Snowbank is looking really nice now. It sure took it a while to adjust to being outside, but I'm totally happy with it. No Y yet, but I don't think it will be much longer.
Susie shared so many of her L'amour cross seeds, we all will be knee deep in pink blooms if not this summer, next summer for sure! I am hoping yours will be a red baby Brugie!
Hey Tracey, when did you start these seeds and how long did it take to bloom? I have some of these and you know the anticipation is absolutely killing me!! Your's is gorgeous!!!
Kell, if mine is red, you will hear me yelling from Iowa to California. LOL!! I'll be happy to get the color of Tracey's seedling. I'm still trying to find a source for that Excel fertilizer.
Well, I am praying for you Brugie! I am praying for us all! LOL
And when you do, share the knowledge ok.................. thanks
Shirley,
may be I can listen here, too. Smile.
Tracey,
Did you get your nursery?
My oh my.........can't wait for the seedlings to do their thing!! Great job, you two!!! Cala, sweetie, ya got to be Queen of the brug pollinators!!
"eyes"
I did get a little carried away Eyes. I guess that large Rubbermaid box full of seeds is a bit much. I just love seed pods. I had tried to plan it out so I could pick at least one pod a day for a year, well, lots of them got ripe at the same time(and then the move kind of messed my schedule up). There is just something about watching a pod mature and then getting to pick it! I'm glad there were lots of folks willing to grow them out.
Yes, I have enrolled in a 12 plan to help with this seed pod addiction but it's not working.
Not only that Susie is contagious!!!
Holy Cow!! A Rubbermaid box? Gosh, I had a little plastic envelope full and thought I did good!! Then, the larva took care of most of them. I'm seeing a few pods starting to form now, so maybe I'll have some this fall.
