Haighr, what a beauty of a moth. Never saw one before. Out here we have ones that look like that except are all white. My Roger Tory Peterson Moth book says that the larvae of Carpenterworm and Leopard Moths bore in various trees, sometimes causing considerable damage. Says wingspan is 2.5 to 8.5, which seems pretty large. Donna
