Just opened this afternoon. Don't look at the leaves. A caterpillar chewed on it pretty bad. It's got imidicloprid on it now and will have Bt on it as soon as the co-op opens on Monday! Those little cats were hungry.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

so do not be so mysterious girl which one is it??? It is so pink.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Yes, Peggy it is! She has been holding out on us! She is going to call it Kelley's Pink!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

oh no Kell that has to be Mystic's marvel. lol

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh NO Peggy, it is going to be Kelley's Keeper!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

Susie, it is the longest tendrils I think I have seen. So good colored too. That must have been like a wonderfull dream for you entering the GH and find it open? Wasn`t that just great to come home to?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It's Rothkirch. It was wonderful to come home and find it open. Tonny, it's in the open garden, in a small pot. The caterpillars were eating it and I was so afraid they would eat the bud. I don't think I've seen tendrils this long on a brug before, they are as long as the flower!
I couldn't help myself, I pollinated a few flowers with the fluffy pollen!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

It's very pretty. I like the different shape this one has. Those tenderials- WOW....

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well so much for you and me Peggy!
We are are all going to hold our breath during your move Susie!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

You are addicted and in too deep, Susie to break the secret wow not to put pollen on more, before in TX *lol* No, that is wonderful to hear that you did. Wow! Susie, what will the children look like, what will they look like? I am so happy for you. Tell me, how is the smell (maybe there is first going to be smell tonight?) ... and I noted the leaf above the flower and left. Gosh!, its dark green almost into the bluish.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tonny, I completely forgot to check for smell! I was so excited about the tendrils and getting the pollen that I didn't even check to see if it was fragrant(and there are so many brugs blooming in the yard, I would have had to stick my nose in it to see).
Yes, the leaves are really dark, could be the Osmocote I used on it, lol.
I will try to be patient with the seed pods!I do hope to get a nice pink seedling with looooooong tendrils! Maybe I can name the "kids" after Kell and Mystic, lol.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I wonder if it will get darker with age. Please post a few more pics.

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

Yes, Susie we want more pictures ... from any possibly angel *lol* We need to drool much more over everything about this flower :D :D :D ... I have prepared for that and put trasperant plastic wrap all over the keyboard and desk and put a bucket right under the desk *lol*

Cala,
It is a true Beauty!!!!!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Susie, I love the color and the tendrils! Very nice!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Great tendrils. Glad the cats didn't get to the bud.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Oh Cala, that is so beautiful never seen like that.

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

What a beauty!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

Susie I am about to crack up wanting to see more pictures, but I guess its so beautiful, that it can as well be enjoyed as a precious good old vine ... highest two bottles à year and only slow zips *lol*lol*

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

Really, really nice!!!! I finally finished potting everything yesterday. Took some cuttings of some of my more prized ones. I think I have a seed pod on ET. Those bugs must have been busy. I know you could not let the pollin from Rothkirch go unused. Super genes there. Can I guess which pinks you put it on. I know you will get something special.

Larry

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I bet you would guess right off Larry!! and yes, you bet I did, lol.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tonny, I took some more pictures, but my camera has decided it doesn't want to connect to the computer. I am trying to figure out what's wrong.

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

Could be the camera driver missing or has to be reinstalled.

San Diego, CA(Zone 10b)

A truly fantastic brug. Love those tendrils-I hope it translates to the crosses! LOL :)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tonny, it could be the driver, I'll reinstall it. I use XP camera wizard and when I turn the camera on, it wants to know what I want to do, then it says it can't find the device. Could be the USB cable, the end doesn't seem to fit tight in the camera port like it used to. The system manager says all ports are working and the device is working, it's a mystery. I restarted the computer just in case, but that didn't help either. It was working this morning!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

susie that is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

Beautiful! Calla. Congratulations. What's her name? Imzadi, bruggies are big feeders and I fertilizer mine as often as I do my roses. Which is monthly. But a lot of bruggies growers use Peter's water soluble fertilizer. They say it works better than Miracle Grow because it has micro-nutrients.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Woodspirit, it's Rothkirch.

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Mighty purty, Susie...........ya bringing her to Texas when y'all come?? Mystic's Marvel? Kell's Keeper? I say ya should call her Cala's Courage!!
