I had posted a earlier photo but this morning when I looked at the blooms on this one I noticed an extra petal like sticking out from the center. I am very curious as to what may be happening to the flower. Maybe it is trying to be a double. Now wouldn`t that be something to see especially as large as the flower is.

Whatever it is doing, this is sure a pretty one, the color is a mauve but they call it chocolate??
