Our phone is out - I'm using my dad's computer. I don't know when it will be back, 5 days so far. Tomorrow, I hope, but after twor or three callls and one face to face, I'm not holding my breath!

Was in the same boat last week.The gas company was putting in a new meter next door and sliced my line. I was on the phone at the time and so I realized immediately what happened.

Went out and had a conversation with the backhoe guy.He assured me that they would take care of it and notify the phone co.3 Days later,I called the phone people myself and reported it...Arggggg!!

The repairman who finally came,told me that he'd driven by 2 times while they were digging and no one even bothered to wave him down.

I feel for you Kathleen!

Well, after 5 days, I'm back. No one here is happy. Tom said he thought Grandpa had been stolen by aliens and replaced by one of them. Phone, elevator, barn cleaner, I think that's enough for this week!
