Is there a way to have inquiries that are addressed to a person here..also forwarded to email at home? (example..suppose I offer plants or seeds on open forum and several people want to have some...in addition to the requests here in that forum, can these also be forwarded to me at home..which will eliminate the constant checking of the particular forum on a daily basis..???)

I imagine Dave is catching up on some sleep. ;) He usually gets posts quicker if you put them in the forum called Daves' Garden. Have you used thread watcher? I know it is not exactly your email, but at least anything you want to keep up with shows up on your home page.

I'm not Dave, but I think I can at least shed some light on the question. We used to have the ability to receive an email notification for threads you wanted to be kept updated on. For very active threads, people complained that it clogged their inboxes quicker than they could delete the notifications, and it was a server "hog" (as best I recall.) That's when Dave came up with the thread watching feature.

The only way you can do this is to request that each person respond by emailing you, rather than post to the thread. But I'd guess you may experience the same glut that people did when we had email notifications...
