Love this one and to have a brug in a smaller size would thrill my DH as he doesn't relish sharing our bedroom with 15 almost full sized brug plants this winter. lol

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful Brug, Susie. This also goes on my want list.

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Very very beautiful. Are you going to sell the seed too? Need to make myself a reminder to watch your store.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I may have some seed on there. I know there will be.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

susie, If you sell seeds put me on the list..TNX, >^,,^< shirley

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Had to look Bert up, lol http://davesgarden.com/t/378659/Bert
Are you selling Bert yet Cala?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Well....If I'd quit giving it away to all my friends, lol. Actually Bert is blooming and I don't want to chop on him right now.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

OH MY GOD!! I just went to Cala's store where I haven't been for awhile. And she has incredible seeds for sale. Gee, you were holding out on me! LOL

You know I was wondering if newbies might think the pics you have listed are the pics of what the seeds will become and not realize it its just a pic of one of the pod parents. Anyone here like to give your opinion on that?

http://calastropicals.com/module/store/vbc/621/

I really want some of your Bert and Rosamond crosses. And of course Kell's Girlie Girl X L'Amour!! LOL Susie! Why don't I have more land????

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Dang it kell,ya jus had ta post that hyperlink ...;-P

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Scooterbug, would you tell me if looking at Cala's store, if you easily realize the seed will grow up to be different than the picture by its cross name?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I wanted to put pics of both parents, but it's not possible the way the images are set up. I added a note at the very top that the pics are of the pod parent.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Hey,I'm really new at this stuff, but so far I think that seeds from a cross are not always true to either or both parents....hmmmm... I know what I mean~'~,~'~, shirley >^,,^< "Sheesch"

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Yes Scooterbug. they are always different, except for a few brugs, which adds to the excitemnt of growing them. You never know if you will get THE ONE!!!

Cala, what if you merged 2 pics together? would that work to post?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

That is what I was going to suggest. Set up one frame and paste both parents pics in it, then post it as one image. Surely in this day and age, most people understand about hybrids??

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Gosh, I am so green at this ,but altho the size is wrong,I did this Irfanview panorama of 2 pics. I'm sure someone could resize to proper proportions....whew!

I have Irfanview, but haven't a clue how to combine two photos into one.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cala, go to Image/Create Panorama. After you put the two images side by side and make a two image view, resize it to whatever size you need. Very easy.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Wow, thanks Brugie. I learn something new from you all the time!

(Zone 5a)

Cala if you have any extra seeds for this one I would love to have some please.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Shoot Susie, I turned Kell on to Irfanview, but had to ask her how to do the two picture thing myself.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Brugie, when you showed Kell how to do the photo stuff, you created a monster, lol! She's gotten good with her pictures.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

lol. I use irfanview all the time now. combines 2 pics much easier than adobe. THANKS BRUGIE!! hey suzz............ a monster ?????? crush me with a spoon!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Hey DatDog, great minds think alike, I came to look again too!

surfing at nap time and look what I found?----its breathtaking......

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Beautiful color! I agree, it is breathtaking.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

There are so many brugs that I would like to have in my garden, but gosh, just how much work can one person handle?? LOL!! I'm getting too old to have all of them that I want, but it doesn't keep me from wanting. This one is a beauty.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I love this one also. oh dear. brugs brugs brugs everywhere!

(Zone 5a)

I have been looking at all the different types of brugs here and find them all beautiful and this one is no exception, it is just lovely.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

This is one of my favorites, the blooms are not really as big as they look in that picture, they are about the same size or smaller than Antique Lace, when my plant was only about 3 ft it had about 200 to 300 blooms open at once, just awesome! I am going to have one in the shade this year to see the color differance first hand. The thing I really like about this one is it seems to pass on it heavy blooming to its seedlings.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Tracey, 200 to 300 flowers on a 3 ft plant?? Well, everyone needs this one for sure!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Boy, I'd love to have one that bloomed that heavily. Wow!!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Goodness ... maybe I had better add this to my list too! To have a brug bloom with that many would be awesome! The most I have had at one time is about 10 - 12 on Becca Lynn.
