Root, how big is the rootstock on that? It really is incredible.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

but it's not hardy, right? isn't this the same as the one in the truck?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Root, your yard must be the talk of Kansas Root!

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Root have you been doctoring that plant?

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

tiG the one with the trunk is the one ine the truck, this was the smaller one.
GRC I cvan't quit looking and touching it,I think it likes the attention!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

right, I was thinking same plant, I knew the other one drove off into the sunset:) I see you have most of those in pots in the ground. what size? I have one of these and just potted it up to a 3 gallon yesterday, it's getting big.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

tiG,I do not have any pots in the ground,Born Free!!!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

wow, the CRC has gotten sooooo much worse:) I saw a pic yesterday of pots very close in the ground and for some reason thought it was you:) it was cool.
anyway!!! so how do you overwinter this tiny baby??

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

This one will go to a GH for winter,I all ready can't wait to see it next year,LOL!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

potted up?

Willacoochee, GA(Zone 8b)

tig, they are hardy for me
i have a bunch in pots that had rooted into the ground, and would pretty much require a backhoe to dig up, so i've just left them.
they seem fairly xerophytic here, but refuse to get any leaves bigger than 8inches without a ton of water.

drew

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

drew, you're a lot further south than me. I have one and I would just hate to have to beg again next year! LOL!!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

tiG you know we will fix you up next year if need be!!!Is yours doing OK?My Shippers got so big,I had to stuff one in a box today for Littlehawk,LOL!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

mine is doing fine :) growing like a weed!

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

wow that is impressive, Root. Almost as big as a gunnera. Speaking of gunnera, mine died and I think it was dying before I brought it home because the leaf tips were dry. (lips pouting)

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)
